About Vinnitsya National Medical University
In the small city of Vinnytsia, there is a non-profit public higher education institution called Vinnytsia National Medical University, founded in 1921.
In addition to being accredited/recognized by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the National Medical Commission (NMC), and the World Health Organisation (WHO), the medical degree obtained from the Vinnytsia Medical University is also recognized by the World Health Organization.
Therefore, Indian students who have completed their degree at Vinnytsia National Medical University are eligible to take the FMGE or NMC Screening Test.
The university is also known as the National Pirogov Memorial Medical University. There are nearly 5,500 students at the university, of which nearly 1,000 are international students. In 1999, the university was granted national status, and in 2002 it obtained international recognition.

Eligibility to Study Vinnitsya National Medical University
Following are the eligibility requirements for Vinnytsia National Medical University’s MBBS program:
- Those who are eligible include Indian citizens, Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), & Foreign Nationals.
- To be considered for admission, a candidate must be 17 years old by December 31 of the year in which they are applying.
- Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English must all have been passed individually in the qualifying examination, and the candidate must have achieved minimum passing grades in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
- Physics, Chemistry, and Biology must be studied for two years continuously with English as the medium of instruction at the 10+2 level.
- Candidates must have made it through NEET if they are Indian nationals.

Vinnitsya National Medical University Admission Process
In Vinnitsya National Medical University, a student’s admission is purely based on merit. The following steps need to be completed to apply to Vinnitsya National Medical University:
- The first step to gaining admission to Vinnytsia National Medical University is passing complex interviews in biology, chemistry, and the language of studies.
- For foreign students with high school diplomas from recognized universities, the second step is to apply for a medical degree.
- Students who wish to study a medical course in the Ukrainian language must take preparatory courses at VNMU.
- As for step four, the tuition fee does not include any medical insurance coverage and a medical exam when you arrive at college.
